United by their love of Lighthouse and passion for its work in the community, the venue’s board of Development Ambassadors met for the first time last week.
The group, chaired by MT Rainey OBE, Chair of Poole Arts Trust, has come together to ensure the business community is fully informed about the range of facilities, services and opportunities available to it at Lighthouse.
“Lighthouse is incredibly grateful to our Development Ambassadors,” says Head of Development Sue Lloyd.
“They have offered their expertise so readily because they understand the vital role Lighthouse has as a cultural leader in our community through its artist support and creative engagement work.”
The Development Ambassadors – David Coleman (Director, DAL Strategy), Lynn Coleman (Director, DAL Strategy), Liz Willingham (MD, Liz Lean PR), Hollie Newton (Consultant Creative Director), Ian Girling (CEO, Dorset Chamber), Matt Evans (MD, Garden Room Living & Landscape) – are already spreading the word about the benefits of working with Lighthouse in terms of business events, marketing, hospitality, staff benefits and customer engagement/acquisition.
“With their help, we are looking forward to exploring a number of business partnerships and sponsorship opportunities,” adds Sue, “as well as the prospect of significant individual donations, from individuals and companies that identify with what Lighthouse is doing.”
