Lighthouse Best Friends gathered recently for a special lunch event hosted by CEO Elspeth McBain, at which she talked about her life in arts venues around the UK.
As well as some fascinating insights into all that goes into making Lighthouse the high profile venue that it is some for-members-ears only stories were told too, giving them a unique glimpse into life behind the scenes and some of the funny, exciting and challenging things that have happened. Elspeth had everyone at the table captivated with her tales.
It was a pleasure to have the chance to thank Lighthouse Best Friends for their support (some were major donors too), and to explain more about the difference they make to all that we’re able to do for our community and to make our Creative Engagement work possible.
We were really proud of our chefs who created a delicious three course menu of memorable dishes, and our catering team who all looked after our guests really well. Everyone there praised the special afternoon they had, in good company and good conversation.
