Get some festive funny and enjoy a top night of live stand-up comedy with three hilarious acts plus host, up close and personal in our beautifully intimate Sherling Studio, brought to you by our resident and multi-award winning Coastal Comedy Club.
Our headline act is the fabulously funny Esther Manito, an Arab Essex girl who will challenge every single preconception of what that means.
As seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Hypothetical (Dave) and heard on: BBC Sounds Russell Kane’s Evil Genius, co-hosting Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack Unplugged, CBBC Bitesize Parents, BBC’s Breaking The News and Russell Kane’s Boy’s Don’t Cry.
“Manito skilfully weaves her own personal story with a wider look at gender issues in society” ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Evening Standard
“At times it’s like Victoria Wood has taken the mic” – Radio Times
“An astute observer of everyday daftness as well as being able to tackle the bigger issues with wit and guile” – The List
Opening the show are the super funny duo Plastic Jeezus. Winners of 2022’s ‘South Coast Comedian of the Year’, ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Musical Comedy Awards 2021 and many many more!
Simon and Aaron are Plastic Jeezus – a deadpan, ukulele-totin’, musical comedy duo and have been making waves up and down the country with their hilarious and often surreal original songs, all delivered in their own unique, straight-faced way.
“With their pin-sharp lyrics and affable nature, musical duo Plastic Jeezus look set to soon have many disciples following their comedy adventures” British Comedy Guide
Also appearing on the night is comedian, actor, director and writer Stuart Laws. “Laws is on top form at the moment, talking nonsense of the highest order… a chronically funny stand up” Time Out
Don’t miss this top night out, sponsored by United Taxis. The night is hosted by Adrienne Coles from award winning Coastal Comedy – see you there!
Please note that acts may change due to TV Commitments. Show starts at 8pm.
