Have a passion for amazing food and brilliant customer service? Want to work in one of the largest regional arts centre in the UK?
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Chef to help support our Chef in the planning and preparation of food in our newly refurbished Beacon. You should have a proven track record in providing a diverse menu for large numbers of customers . The Beacon closes at 8pm (Tuesday to Saturday) and you will rarely be working later than nine each evening. This is a challenging and often fast paced role and will suit someone who can manage demanding service periods, in a small team environment.
An interest in the arts is an advantage, a flexible, positive attitude and a sense of humour is essential. If you can demonstrate success in a similar role, have the skills and ability and are ready for the next challenge in your career path we would like to hear from you.
Interviews will involve a practical element. Candidates should be prepared to produce and serve several set dishes.
We welcome applications from all parts of the community, particularly those from ethnically diverse backgrounds who are currently under-represented and as a disability confident employer, those identifying as D/deaf or disabled.
